Where can I get information on encryption for WinXP?I would like to learn how to encrypt the data on one of those USB
Flash drives so I can give or mail sensitive data and be assured that if lost or stolen the data cnanot be read without the password. I don't see a group for WinXP and this one seems to have almost traffic. Is there some other place where I can ask? On 03/26/2009 12:30 PM, one***@e.mcc sent:

Is there some other place where I can ask? for XP newsgroups or security, do you believe you are going to be able to install, use and maintain something like TrueCrypt? <http://www.truecrypt.org/> Take more time and care. I did search for both WinXP and Security groups. There are many WinXP groups, but none with the word security (ie, no direct counterpart to this one). Is that incorrect? There are a lot of security groups. I did post to one of them, but I thought someone might help me select the most appropriate one. I'll check out TrueCrypt and try my best not to be too stupid or too impatient. ;-) Thanks for the pointer.
