Can I have more than one IUSR_ account per site
If the main site has the default account

can I specify a different one for a folder in the site
and still maintain the default for the rest of the site?

Yes. That is the default behavior.

Did some testing before you replied and

Errr...... just curious if everything under one website... what's the
objectives behind?

Say 3 folders
folderA
folderB
folderC

so A and B with default iusr_computer
folderC - with custom_iusr

from visitor point of view - it's transparent....... you only get
flexibility at server end, I mean in term of configuration NTFS wise, etc.

Hi Bernard,

Of course use of unique Iusr_/Iwam_ is prerequisite in order to
guarantee source confidentiality in a shared hosting environment.
Outside of having diverse, untrusted authors on a single machine,
I agree, it would be interesting to see the use case (ex. different
sets of off-box credentials needed, etc.).

Definitely, because this is for 2 diff anonymous account under the same
website.... I just wondering the actual intention of such need in this
setup.
