PORT 80 ALWAYS IS CLOSED.Hello everyone,
How are you? Strangely I have the problem with closed port 80,,. I read many problems about opened port 80 but not like mine port 80 always i9s closed. My web server with Win 2003 enterprise worked fine for more than 2 years and suddenly last 10 days my web pages do not show up on the internet. All work fine on the LAN,, and the ports 25 and 110 are open and the mail server is communicating fine with the rest of the world. The DNS test shows also to be ok, I did not installed any software or hardware that would cause so anything to contribute to it, so what is it? I just exhaust all my ideas and sleepless nights too. Please , please, if anyone can help me with this problem “closed port 80†and keep closing though all IIS services are running. Any idea how to knock the port to open? I appreciate a lot,, marmenboy, check your windows firewall, make sure that it has not closed the port.
Sometimes the automatic updates will do things that are unexpected. Also does your ISP expect you to run a nat router as part of dsl service(my lame one does) if so you may want to check the port configuration on your router.
