IIS requires credentials all the time....PART III have IIS server on Server 2003 and Anonymous Access and Windows Integrated Security are checked but when some users wants to access site IIS requires credentials ... If I turn off Integrated Security then I get message "You are not autorized to view this page" I tried to change Home Directory back to C:\inetpub\wwwroot with no results ... same scenario happens again how to set my IIS to allow Anonymous Access ------------------------------------------- TODAY (NEW facts) : I have found out that when I rewert my server back to WORKGROUP my IIS works fine. Then I have join server to domain again and IIS ask for credential every time somebody try to access web site. I guess that some Group Policy enforce such behaviour of IIS ... Where should I look for ... THX in advance Lobo a) What logon failure events do you see in the Windows Event Log?
b) Have you run Filemon and determined which user account is being denied access to the files in you website? Filemon can be obtained from www.sysinternals.com Let's verify what the actual problem is first before jumping to conclusions.
