IIS uses a heirachical metabase -
lower level objects (e.g. files/folders) in inherit parent settings if these is no setting specifically for that file/folder. You could easily write a piece of VBScript that recurses throught the metabase to write out where the setting is defined. Alternatively, choose to set the parent/root website to "not required". You will then be prompted with a list of locations where a different setting is already set, and whether you want to override the setting. Write this list down. Click "Cancel" Cheers Ken Show quoteHide quote "tolgay" <t***@tgul.com> wrote in message news:uSuLLOUPGHA.312@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... :I would like to know which files are SSL certificate required. we can find : which are if we look the files in security tab.
