I would like to implement in an IIS more than one SSL certificates, for example one domain name is www.test.com and the other one is www.test2.com and both of them in to a server and there is only one IP address. Need I use more than one ip address or more ? if could we use more than one ssl cetificates on an ip address would you please explain how? Thanks, So your looking at 1 IP Address for each hosted site.

and I have read If you wanna use ssl, you have to have as many ip address as you want to host the ssl site because the IIS can't understand the "https" host header. But I am not quite sure about that that is why I am asking for. By the way the system is IIS5.0 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/columns/insider/iisi0604.mspx Show quoteHide quote "Mr. Backup" <bac***@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:OqJk1bvNGHA.4052@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > So your looking at 1 IP Address for each hosted site. > Its a requirment of SSL. > > Not possible.
1 IP per certificate. You can see further discussion of this from yesterday and late last week a few posts down.
