I am running a w2K ad, And I have just setup a W2003 IIS 6 server that I
need to authenticate against my ad.  This is working on the older IIS 5
server I am replacing. It is logged into the AD.

The strange thing is that if I type in the IP address, I can authenticate,
but using the DNS name it doesn't.
I can authenticate using a local account either way.
My DNS entries look OK. I have disabled all but 1 NIC.
I have built a 2nd site and get the same resonce.
Has anyone run into this one before?

what is that DNS name? http://yourserver/ ?

when it doesn't meaning you are 'auto' login and able to access the site?
