Username/Password input dialogHello!
I moved a website to one server to another (Win NT 4 to Win 2000) but on the Win2000 server a Username/Password input dialog appears when tring to access th website (main default.asp). On all files "Everyone" has full access. Anonymous access is configured with "IUSR_xxx" user as it is after installing IIS. The configuration is the same as on old server and there the dialog doesn't appear. So does anybody know why this dialog appears here? Thanks in advance! And that the anonymous user account isn't by default in the group everyone, right? So that access using the anonymous user account to a resource with full control for the group "Everyone" would still not have access unless the anonymous user also had access, right? Check file permissions. Again. After unlocking the account no everything works fine with just "Everyone" as file permission. Thanks for your help!
