Help with HTTP 401.2 - Access is denied errorI am trying to deploy a BizTalk 2006 R2 BAM Portal. Running Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0, SQL Server 2005 Config Info: the BAM Portal is configured as it's own website. A pretty typical BAM deployment. The local path for the website is C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\BAMPortal. The BAM Portal site runs in its own Application Pool. Execute permissions are Script & Executables. Port used for the site is 13739. When attempting to access the default.aspx file, I get: Error message: Error Message 401.2.: Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration. Verify that you have permission to view this directory. Attempting to browse to other *.aspx or *.htm files in the same folder result in "The page cannot be displayed" errors. I have verified NTFS permission. Used FileMon to verify no "Access Denied". Verified things are correct in my web.config file. Also tried using the Authentication and Access Control Diagnostics tool to isolate this, but results did not indicate anything. Inconclusive. Where else can I look for the cause? Are there any registry entries that could cause this error? Any assistance in determining the root cause would be very much appreciated. In case of IE the user's autenticaciòn is detected automatic for default. In case of the firefox the authentication is manual for default, this for major safety rumour (the truth that for the user is troublesome). I attach a link with the detail of since(as,like) forming the automatic authentication in firefox. Http: // www.eslomas.com/index.php/archives/2006/09/...
