I have a very difficult for me problem.I am a single user of my house
computer which runs under windows xp professional.I have installed IIS,but when I enter Internet Explorer, write localhost I receive error HTTP 401.1 unauthorized ccess . How can I solve it? 401.1 = Logon Failed.
Can you look in the Windows Event Log (located in your Administrative Tools folder) to see if there are any relevant events? Cheers Ken Show quoteHide quote "suc***@netvision.net.il" <suchdinetvisionne***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:94462DE7-324E-4924-91DF-EC8D7F61CB57@microsoft.com... >I have a very difficult for me problem.I am a single user of my house > computer which runs under windows xp professional.I have installed IIS,but > when I enter Internet Explorer, write localhost I receive error HTTP 401.1 > unauthorized ccess . > How can I solve it?
