IWA connect to fileserverPlease can someone help me. I´m going nuts with IWA, delegation and kerberos authentification... We would like to do the following: - We set up an IIS 6 - we added a website with IWA - in this website we created 4 virtual directories which point to a fileserver (the folders beneath the share are displayed in iis console) - in the virtual directories the authentication method is also IWA. - in ADS I set delegation on the IIS-computeraccount to the fileserver with HOST- and CIFS-Service The curious thing is, when I connect to the website using IE7 i can connect to the root-website, but not to the virtual directories. With IE6 I can´t even access the website itself. The default website is also not accessible with IWA from IE6, but from IE7. Can someone tell me what to do? On the same IIS there is also a website from SAPs TREX. Cheers Christian Are you using a custom application pool or the default application
pool? If a custom one, what is it using as its identity? How are you accessing the web site, by its DNS host name or by a DNS alias? Have you logged into the remote file server to look at the security events in the Event Viewer? If so, what are the errors? On the web server what is the NTAuthenticationProviders metabase property set to? Storcki wrote: Show quoteHide quote > Hi! > Please can someone help me.
