Certificate problemIt is said that the name in "issue to" section in the certificate should be
the same as the external server name of your web server. I have installed an enterprise CA and tried to creat a new certificate from the directory security in IIS. I noticed that the certificate will work no matter what common name I use in the certificate. For example: www.fakename.com, fakename.local, fakename. However, if I submit a request on the certsrv site and install it to the web site. The certificate will not work no matter what name I use. "the page cannot be displayed" error will occur. Is there a difference when submitting certificate request in these two places? I also tested using stand-alone CA and get a more confusing result. I can use the certificate issued to "xxx". If I use "www.xxx.com", it will not work. Any ideas? I am configuring certificate on OWA site if it matters.Have port 443 enabled in the web site configuraiton?
