Hi all,

I have a Windows 2003 web server configured with a couple of production
websites and a couple of non production test web sites.  My prod sites have
purchased security certificates.  These have installed w/o problems.

I would like to export the same security certs and then import them to my
test sites.  These are purely test sites and it won't matter if I get the
security warning that the names don't match.  However, when I go to my
production website properties | directory security | server certificate, the
wizard does not give me an option to export the cert to a .pfx file (that
option is greyed out in the wizard).  On other 2003 systems, I have been able
to do this export/import procedure for testing.  Is this option specific to
the certificate vendor or am I doing something wrong.

Is there another option for exporting my purchased cert to use it for a test
site?

thanks for any advice.

When you view the cert, do you see 'You have the private key that
corresponds to this certificate'?
if yes, then try export using this steps. (applies to iis 6 as well)
