The following updates KB956841, 956803, 956391, 957095 and 954211 have just
been installed and on restarting I now have an icon identified as Ulead
AutoDetector in the taskbar adjacent to START which I can't get rid of. Will
you please advise on how to delete this.

Check with Ulead. It isn't a Microsoft application.

> OK Well it might not be a Microsoft Application problem but I didn't have the icon before the updates were applied. I've discovered what the problem was. My web cam was connected to a USB port and something in the updates caused the icon to appear! I've disconnected the webcam and the icon has gone. But thanks for the not very helpful reply.
