Delete rights & NovellDo I really have to give all users delete rights to the directory of my
shared database located on a Novell Netware server? I know that the lock file has to be created and deleted by the first and last users to use the database and I can't have the same person be assigned to this task - it has to be available to all users at anytime. So other than programming protections into the application, is there a way that I don't have to give all users delete rights to the directory? Sandra,

You can activate Access Use Level security but still must give all users full access to the folder.
