Our office recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007
A month after the upgrade, access 2007 crashed and had to be restored from
backup tapes.  Since then 2 of 5 users get READ ONLY access to the database.
How do I restore the frontend access to these users?

Give those 2 users write permission on the folder where the mdb file is and
make sure the c: drive disk and temp folder aren't full.

The users have Modify, Read& Execute, Read, and Write permissions from the
shared foldder.
If I copy another user's front end account and rename it I still cannot get
the read only access screen to go away

If you copied it then right click on the file and make sure it's not 'Read
Only'.
