MDE file security problemthe accountant PC was formatted, he has some mde files he uses for his work,
these files are still available but when i open them from another PC, a form open (sorta like a modal box in windows applications) that tells me i am not allowed to open these files. Why ? How can i solve this ? How the security is implemented ? Can i do anything to help him ? On Wed, 19 Nov 2008 21:28:02 -0800, Beginner

The error seems not generic, it is written in another language (arabic), it appears after the application open a window, usually the accountant will not get this, he just enter his credentials... Fortunatelly it appeared that the application was on another drive and it is still working, my guess is that the security is linked somehow to his PC or to a license file somewhere in the folder... The problem is solved, but i still want to know more about this, what kind of security was implemented, might help me in the future.
