password, how secure is it?

About as weakly as you can imagine except for Access 2007 where I hear it has
been improved.  How much improved I am not qualified to comment on.

Thank you.  How do you create such a password?

When I try this it says it wants me to open the database for exculsive use.
How do I open the database for exclusive use?

The file open dialog should provide an option for shared or exclusive.

I'm not finding this.  I'm using Access 2002.  When I click on Open I get a
standard Windows popup.

I found it.  Thanks.  This seems to be a very simple security method.  Is
there anyway to open the database if you forget (or don't have) the
password?

There are plenty of password crackers to be found on the net, if you search.
