I upgraded from office 2000 to office 2007 but kept access 2000 on my machine
as well.  I had access 2000 databases that had user level security enabled
and everything worked for a while then when I created a new database in
access 2007, without enableing any security features, a password is asked for
the next time I open it. I have uninstalled access 2000 and uninstalled and
reinstalled access 2007 but the same behavior persists.  from everything I
have read a access 2007 *.accdb
database should not ask for a username and password.  how do I get this to
stop??  --
