File Permissions with Access 2007 and VistaI am setting up a new Vista Ultimate computer that has Access 2007 installed.
I copied a previous Access database to my wife's documents folder and some to my own. From my user account I can run all my previous Access databases in my folder but when I (administrator) access the mda file in my wife's folder, it will only open as read only. There are no permissions internal to the Access Database, and I have tried setting the permissions temporarily on the file in her account so that I am the owner and have full control. I have even turned off the inheritable permissions and left only my account permissions with full control with no change. However, from her account the mda file opens and is fully editable. How can I get Access to edit this file from both my account and hers? |
