Firewall Error Messgae

After my system boots up and is ready I will get an error message stating my
system is not secure and I need to turn on my firewall...well according to
the settings it is on and has not been changed. I have turned it off, then
back on but the message still appears. This does not happen everytime the
system fires up and is ready for use. Frustrating to say the least! Running
XP on a laptop.

Mine is doing the same thing now. The balloon on the task bar pops up for a
few seconds ever so often to state this. My setting say the firewall is on.
