I created a new workgroup called Reg, but when I join it. It tells me that I
don't have the permissions to see the database. But when I go to permission,
its greyed out and I can't do anything.

Please help

There is much much more to security than just creating a new workgroup.  Did
you follow all of the steps in the security whitepapers?
