I'm afraid we are going to need a lot more information than that. Can you describe what is happening? What error messages you are getting? C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\TT945766\MY DOCUMENTS\SUPERVISOR INFORMATIONS CENTER2006.MDE ' OBJECT HAVE YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOER OR PERSON WHO CREATED THIS OBJECT ESTABLSIH THE APPROPIATE PERMISSIONS TO YOU... I created the data base and I had full permsiions.. this started on 03/20/2006 after I changed my Windows passcode.. Is this a coincidence.. .. But it does not explain why other users are unable to get to any Projects in Access.. I was working in a test enviorment. had not touched the production project.. I would start by checking with your network administrator to make sure that you, in fact, do have the necessary permissions to access that folder -- Show quoteHide quoteLynn Trapp MS Access MVP www.ltcomputerdesigns.com Access Security: www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm Jeff Conrad's Access Junkie List: http://home.bendbroadband.com/conradsystems/accessjunkie.html "Kathy Elliott" <KathyElli***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:251ECF2C-8B22-4F93-8788-ECE15C14EEF2@microsoft.com... >I it syaing that I do not have necessary permissions to access > C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\TT945766\MY DOCUMENTS\SUPERVISOR INFORMATIONS > CENTER2006.MDE ' OBJECT HAVE YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOER OR PERSON WHO > CREATED THIS OBJECT ESTABLSIH THE APPROPIATE PERMISSIONS TO YOU... The error you are getting suggests that your problem is with network permissions and not with Access permissions. Someone who is familiar with your network is going to have to look into the problem. -- Show quoteHide quoteLynn Trapp MS Access MVP www.ltcomputerdesigns.com Access Security: www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm Jeff Conrad's Access Junkie List: http://home.bendbroadband.com/conradsystems/accessjunkie.html "Kathy Elliott" <KathyElli***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E910F674-DAA3-49EB-B4AC-98AB84B0E1C7@microsoft.com... >I am getting the following error > " You do not have the necessary permissions to use > N:\TEST3\Supervisor Information Center.MDB object > have your System Administrator or person who created object establish the > appropiate permissions for you" > I had full permissions to the project..
