Help - Application to run as someone else?A standard network user within our business does not have access rights to manuipulate the folder structures on our shared network. So he cannot create, delete or rename any folders, but he can open and save files that are contained in the folders. This has already been setup using the security permissions on the network. The trouble that I have is that an application that the user runs, needs to create a subfolder on the network and I want to alter the setup, installation or configuration to allow the application to create the folders .... without granting the same permissions to the user. I am sure that I have seen the option somewhere for an application to "RUN AS..." and that you could select a different user. Any ideas? Regards, Sean Please email me on .... sanderson [at] alden [dot] co [dot] uk Make a shortcut to the program, then on the properties page select the
shortcut tab, on that page press the Advanced..." button then on the form that pops up select "Run with different credentials" That was obvious wasn't it :-) Regards Dave O.
