Hi,
my database has a bunch of tables. One of the tables contains the user data
of people on my network. For what ever reason, I can no longer open that
table. I get a read permission error. When I check the security settings, the
owner of the table is "unknown" and I can not set read or write permissions.
There is no login to the database.

any thoughts?

That table was created while you were joined by default to some secure mdw.
You need to open your database using that mdw and then assign permissions to
the Users Group for the table.
