SecurityI have created a Workgroup Information File and now it will not let me into
that file. I keep getting an error " You do not have the necessasy permissions, have the administrator establish the correct permissions for you", well I created this database, so how do I get back into it? You don't need to create another WIF, just join the WIF you used when you
created the mdb originally. Use Tools, Security, Workgroup Administrator and click on JOIN, not create. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP Jenn Civello wrote: > I have created a Workgroup Information File and now it will not let > me into that file. OK, I did that and now I am getting this error " could not open table
MSysAccounts in the workgroup information file" what do I do now? Was this
originally secured in an earlier version of Access? You best bet would be to unsecure it in the older version, and then convert and then resecure it. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP Jenn Civello wrote: > OK, I did that and now I am getting this error " could not open table > MSysAccounts in the workgroup information file" what do I do now? > > "Joan Wild" wrote: > >> You don't need to create another WIF, just join the WIF you used >> when you created the mdb originally.
