Hi, I am new to access and am trying to create a security option to protect
info........probably being a bit lazy here, but can anyone point me in the
right direction for basic security with access

I'm afraid there's no such thing as "basic security" in Access, it is an
involved topic which can be tedious to learn if you're in a hurry.  Jeff

Be sure to back up your files before you try applying security, it's easier
than you think to lock yourself out.
