HElp HelpI am trying to develop user level security for a 2003 database I developed in
2007 ACCESS. I have everyting working except the secure log in. 1) I want users to have to log in to the Database. 2) I have set up the permissions (I think ) in the Secuirty Wizard 3) when i back out at Finish and re-open the DB, It does not prompt me for a password. This is so confusing. Please advise me and I will supply anything you need to consult me about this. Thx. -- Message posted via AccessMonster.com http://www.accessmonster.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/access-security/200905/1 You aren't being prompted for user name and password because the admin user
doesn't have a password set. You probably missed some steps. User level security is an advanced topic and very complicated for new users. Read and study the security faq, practice on a copy of the db, and then secure the db when you're ready. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207793 Chris slweiser wrote: >I am trying to develop user level security for a 2003 database I developed in >2007 ACCESS.
