Having trouble with FE and BE DB...I have a Split DB and have set user permissions on buttons to correspond with
who is logged on but when i try to have one of my users on the network connect to my computer it doesnt bring up the login screen for them it just lets them right in and they cant access any of the controls. Can anyone tell me why or provide a solution. I will provide any info i can. It's not secured properly. You missed some steps. Read and study the
security faq, practice on a copy of the db, and then secure the db when you're ready. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207793 Forgetting to join the secure workgroup before creating the new db file is probably the most common mistake.
