open a formI have developed a number of Access databases using Access 2003. They work
fine on computers with various versions of Windows. The computer on which I do the majority of the development has the Vista operating system. A few weeks ago it became impossible to open a few reports and forms either in design view or to open them for use. In user and group permissions I have given permission for all functions for all reports and forms to myself, the admin, and to the groups of admins and users. Even so, I still can't open the objects. If I copy the databases to a computer with a different operating system, I can open all objects. What is the problem? And what is the fix? Thank you, Gene Wittry Gene,
The usuall culprit is that there is no default printer installed. Without it you can't do anything with the reports, so check for that. -- Show quoteHide quoteGina Whipp "I feel I have been denied critical, need to know, information!" - Tremors II http://www.regina-whipp.com/index_files/TipList.htm "Gene Wittry" <GeneWit***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:45885C48-5C27-4D73-AAD8-BAC5536F8691@microsoft.com... >I have developed a number of Access databases using Access 2003. I had changed the default printer. I did have a printer, but Access apparently didn't like it.
