How to Prevent Editing a Database? In short, I've been trying to find a way to prevent editings on an .mdb file
by using access 2003, hopefully by a password, but unfortunately all what I've managed to do is to put a password that is required for opening the database (Tools=>Security=>Set Database Password), or opening "User-Level Security Wizard" which I do not understand how it works, I hope someone can help me out, & thank you. ktx2skd,
Access Security is not an easy task to undertake. I would also suggest you create a copy before proceeding.
