Installing DB on a server/accessing it from a client PC

I have designed a secure Access 2003 database to be installed on a server and
used by any number of remote PCs on a LAN.
I am trying to test it on my own network of a PC acting as a server and a
remote PC on the same network.
There is a dedicated security.mdw file on the 'server' PC and a desktop icon
to initiate the system. That works OK.
What do I need to put on the remote PC to allow initiation and use under the
same security set up?
I have tried copying the desktop icon and the security.mdw but nothing I do
works.
Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need to copy the security.MDW.  Just put it on the server along
with the MDB file.  If the shortcut you provide to users references BOTH
the MDB to open and the MDW to use while doing so, then it should work
the same as on your PC.  These reference paths should use UNC format
rather than mapped drive letters as those might not be the same on other
PCs.
