access to edit form but not change formHow do you set it up so users can edit information in a form but not change
the form design? Sorry, new users, using Access 2003 so I'm sure this is easy but not figuring it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. rrupp,
If your users are that savvy, I would suggest distributing an mde. However, if the database is not split this could be a pain to update. Split... you say users which implies more then one so in order to avoid all the OTHER issues that can come from sharing a sinbgle database... Split First, ask questions later! But before you split follow these steps... 1. Make a back-up 2. Make a BACK-UP 3. Read this http://www.members.shaw.ca/AlbertKallal/Articles/split/index.htm 4. Review steps 1 and 2 5. Split you database. 6. When you are all done come back and lets' talk about your options for protecting you forms and data.
