I can't open my database which I created on my office's computer. I get the
message that I have not the permission to read the data. I tried to change
the special permissions thru accessing the properties but to no avail. Can
you help? Thanks.

fawdatabase,

Sounds like that database has User-Level security applied.  Do you remember
doing that?

If you have user level security assigned (which you probably do), you will
also need the security file at home along with the database file before you
can access the databse.
