error 3303Hi,
I use Access 2003. I got error message "You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'name' object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you." when I open a .mdb file. How can I open it? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance! Lisa One possible reason is that user-level security is set up properly on the
database. In that case the only way to open it may be to go through the security file that the database uses. Do you have the same problem with other databases? If not, what happens if you put a working database into the same folder as the one you can't open? A Google groups search for something like "You do not have the necessary permissions to use" (with the quotes) will probably turn up more information on the subject.
