O-2003 mdb with O-2003 and O-2007 users

I have an Office 2003 database on a LAN share that is being accessed
by users running both O-2003 and O-2007. Both the front-end and back
end mdb's are on the LAN. Before the O-2007 users came along
everything ran fine. Now response time for O-2007 users is
unacceptably sloooooooooow.

O-2003 users are converting to O-2007 but it will take a couple of
months.
BTW -

I am looking for suggestions on how to improve response time for
forms, queries and reports.

Put a copy of the frontend on each person's PC, not on a network share.
