How can I get a database to open - not in read only?  I have 2 machines
running Access 2007, but one that has 2000.  I need to have the database be a
2000 so all machines can run it.  Since I purchased the new machine running
vista, it will not let me keep the database as 2000 and allow non read only.
I set permissions to let everyone do everything.

Having a terrible time with sharing.  I only have the three machines so the
only security problem is if the crudimentary network is hacked.

I need all three machines to be able to do any kind of editing.  ASAP.  Need
access before Sunday.

Thanks.

What machine is the file being stored on, a workstation or server.  If it is
a vista workstation make sure you store it in the public documents area and
povide full rights to the other users on the share.
