I have created a database that will be shared on the network and used by
about 15 different users.  Before implemeting this database, I plan to use
the database splitter to separate the tables from the remaining objects.

I also want to secure the objects so that users can add and update records
but not delete them.  Obviously I will need to create a couple of users with
administrative permissions.

What is the easiest way to split the database and create secure objects
while ensuring data integrety?  Do I need to split the database first or set
up user access?

When I tried to create user access, it only worked on my computer but not
for my co-workers.  So, they could open the database with full access.  How
do I do this for a specific application that is secure regardless of the
workstation?  Please advise.

Sincerely,
Jim

Hi Ronan,

I figured out that I needed to hold the shift key through all the subsequent
message screens.  Once I did that, the database opened with full controls.  I
hope this helps.
