Security setup problem for Access 2000I'm trying to set up a secure Access db. When I get to the point where
I am supposed to delete the Admin group after creating my new group I get an error message saying it can't perform this operation. What is the problem? Thanks I think you mean the Admins Group, or maybe the Admin User. You cannot
delete the Admin User. The steps you are following likely say remove the Admin User from the Admins Group (not delete it). There must always be at least one member of the Admins Group. Admin is that user, so you have to create your own user to be a member of the Admins Group, and then you can remove the Admin User. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP Mac wrote: > I'm trying to set up a secure Access db.
