I am using Access 97 when I am trying to create Mde file for one of my project computer is showing error "Records can't be read no read permission on C:\......." according to security permission all rights are marked True. Thanks for your help in advance Amir Did you implement security at all or is this happening on an unsecured mdb?

No this is unsecured mdb, please advise if it will not work without security implementation. Since your mdb is not secured, try creating a new mdb and importing all objects from the old. Hit Ctrl-G and then Debug menu, Compile. Hit save. Close the window and then Tools, Database Utilities, compact and repair. Now attempt to make an mde from this new mdb. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP Prince wrote: > Hi, > > No this is unsecured mdb, please advise if it will not work without > security implementation. > > Thanks > Amir > > "Joan Wild" wrote: > >> Did you implement security at all or is this happening on an >> unsecured mdb? >> >> >> -- >> Joan Wild >> Microsoft Access MVP >> >> Prince wrote: >>> Hi, >>> >>> I am using Access 97 when I am trying to create Mde file for one of >>> my project computer is showing error "Records can't be read no read >>> permission on C:\......." according to security permission all >>> rights are marked True. >>> >>> Thanks for your help in advance >>> Amir
