Workgroup files and new domain

I had a database I created on one domain.  We needed to move the database to
a new server, new domain, new physical location.  I simply copied the
database to the new server & domain.

When I  tried to setup the new perms in a new workgroup file, I could not
set some perms for some forms etc since the form was not owned by the admin.
I could not make the owner admin though since I was not the owner.  So I
ended up not being able to assign perms or do much.  Circular error of some
sort.

Is there something I missed?

Can I simply take a copy of the workgroup info file and load it into the new
server for its user there, using the same perms as before?

Copy all objects from the database into a new database and You will be the
owner. You don't want Admin to be the owner. Get a copy of the Security FAQ
and study it closely. You can find a copy on the Security page of my
website.
