Forgotten password for AccessMy daughter password protected a file on Access and forgot the password.
Now, all of Access is password protected and I can not open any databases. Is there a way to get rid of this password. I have tried to uninstall and reload the program with no cahnge. I have tried to uninstall and > reload the program with no cahnge. Access closed, search for and rename "system.mdw" on the drive where Office is installed. This file is required for Access to start and will re-create it if it can't find it. This may not get you into your daughter's protected file but it should allow you into unprotected and new ones.
