Secuirty For Database that has to be copied from cd....

Hello guys,
i have designed a database but i am going to put it on cd. How would i go
about assigning usergroups and passwords to this type of database that is
going to be copied from the cd i will burn it on. Basically i want password
protection for this database and assign usergroups such as 'top manager' and
'staff' and just 2 passwords. How can i go about doing this? all advice wud
be fab:)

Access User Level Security is not affected by the fact that you will
distribute your files on a CD.  Copying from CD to a hard disk often means
you'll have to reset the Read-Only flag, but other than that Access security
is not affected.

Now if the "CD" part of your question was incidental and you are really
asking "How do I set up security?" I'm afraid that's beyond the scope of a
simple answer in these newsgroups.  Access security has a steep learning
curve.  My suggestion is to visit one of the "step by step" web pages

....and experiment on COPIES of your files until you are comfortable with it.
