Security SnafuI'm a security novice in Access. I was experimenting with setting up Groups
and Users and from one PC at least I now cannot open ANY databases. I get asked for user name and password no matter which database I try to open. I can open these same databases from my alternate PC though, except for the one I was actually trying to secure. I have restored the usecured back up I created, but again I can't get into any databases at all from the PC I was working on. I have the One step Security Wizardc Report printed and saved. I did not set up a password for myself. I wasn't even required too. I at least can function using my alternate PC, but I would appreciate some assistance in rectifying this. Any suggestion will be welcomed. Thanks, Paul Hammond Richmond, VA -- Can't we all just get along?

If the latter, then re-join "system.mdw" using the workgroup admin tool. HTH - Keith. www.keithwilby.com Yes it did help and I thank you.
Now I will try again and see if I can avoid repeating this mistake. It seems a high price to pay for something so easy to do. Any tips on how to avoid?
