Desktop Icons for Wrkgroup AdministratorIs there a command line I could put on a desktop icon to quickly change
which workgroup I am joined to? Thanks in advance. Kathy,
No, but you should join workgroups only while working in those applications that require them. Create a shortcut to a secured database. Right-click the shortcut, and select Properties. In the Target field, enter the following: "path to msaccess.exe" "path to database.mdb" /wrkgrp "path to mdw" Make sure to enter the exact paths. Click OK. Then double-click the shortcut, and you'll see the database's Login dialog appear. Enter your username and password, and that's it - you're in. Repeat this process for all secured databases.
