As the administrator on home pc I can no longer login. What 2do?I recently added security to a file but now I'm not able to gain access to
any of my files. When the pop-up box asks for my password, it doesn't recognize it. How can I undo the mess I've created and get back into my files? On Sun, 23 Jul 2006 14:27:01 -0700, dancingjunkie <dancingjun***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote:

It should be "system.mdw" If it's not, do a File Search to locate the system.mdw file - you may find several, try the one in WINNT/System32 first - and join it using the Workgroup Administrator. Before implementing security, thoroughly read and understand the Access ULS FAQs. should ask your question in a newsgroup about Windows. If you are referring to Access, is the dialog asking for just a password or username/password? -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP dancingjunkie wrote: > I recently added security to a file but now I'm not able to gain > access to any of my files.
