Security Features on Access DatabaseHi,
This is going to be my first time adding security features for my database. I want to give access to my database to my boss and his boss. But I also want other people to look up stuff if they need to. Like look at reports and Queries. But I don't want them to change nothing. How can I do that? Thanks in advance. JM You can accomplish this using Access's built-in user-level security.

It is important that you follow every step outlined, omitting nothing, or your database won't be secure. Security FAQ http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207793 Security Whitepaper http://support.microsoft.com/?id=148555 Although the whitepaper is old, it contains information to help you understand security. I've also outlined the detailed steps at www.jmwild.com/AccessSecurity.htm -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP jmart***@gmail.com wrote: > Hi, > This is going to be my first time adding security features for my > database. > > I want to give access to my database to my boss and his boss.
