Restricted permissionsI cannot open my Access database as each time I logon I get the error "You do
not have the necessary permissions to use...Please have your system admin..". I created the database, and have a workgroup file with user level security. I can open the database fine from any other computer on the network but not my computer. I have tried reinstalling office, recreating the workgroup file and user level security, replicating the database and chaging the new replicated one to design master. Help! The message you are getting is because you aren't using the correct
workgroup file, or you are logging in with a username that doesn't have permission to open ... (whatever came after the 'use' in your message). Replicating it was a bad idea to try and troubleshoot this. Is this database split? If so, copy the frontend from some other user's computer. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoan Wild Microsoft Access MVP Adam wrote: > I cannot open my Access database as each time I logon I get the error > "You do not have the necessary permissions to use...Please have your > system admin..". Programatically hide and unhide the database window can't run report from crystal reports deleting microsoft access user passwords Disable Security - Use the standard .mdw file - Allow external apps to connect using DAO Self-Signed Certificate how to export? Reopen the database for relogon |
