When I try to create an MDE it works fine. Then if I add security levels then
run create MDE it starts to but then just stalls....(ie. top left show
micro...access.[not responding])

anyone know what to do??

I'm no expert here and I hope someone more knowledgable will get back to
you. The advice I've been given previously here was to develop the app/mdb,
split it if necessary, add security THEN make the mde file. I'm just at the
point of security the mdb so haven't tried out the secured mde yet.

Maybe try the security first?? Hope that's of some use until the "gurus" get
back.
